And with wheels of stars *
[li] Dakota has one of those eternally young faces. No matter how old she gets, it still looks round and full. This includes her cheeks, her chin, her nose... everything but her lips. Her lips aren't thin, but they aren't the thickest either. It doesn't help that they're spattered with lipstick each morning - it just makes them shiny, not really more enticing. That isn't the only makeup Kota has made habit of applying. She also wears eyeshadow. The thickness usually depends on how much time she's had in the morning, and where she's going. If she's going somewhere where formal attire is required, it's very light and understated, yet serves to bring out her stormy blue eyes. However, if she's going clubbing and feels like looking like her slutty self, she usually heaps it on. For now, her hair is bleach blond. Her light brown eyebrows make it obvious that this is not her natural hair color.[/li][li] Kota is not the tallest of the pack, to be sure. She stands around 5'4'', and is perfectly comfortable with it. Her waistline is ever shrinking, and she is quite the thing little thing. On top of that, she's fairly pale due to malnutrition. Everything about her is very feminine and delicate, including her neck. Her neck is not one of the features Kota is most proud of, hence how her hair is usually down to hide it. Sure it's long like a swan's... but it looks ridiculous on a human being. She also has two moles on her neck. One is nearer the middle, the other is on the base. Not exactly something she chooses to flaunt. Finally, thin red scars cover her arms, usually hidden beneath long sleeves.[/blockquote]
So hush you little ones and have no fear
Likes : boys, boys, and boys. Oh, and sex and music.
Dislikes : posers, band geeks, anyone who reminds her of herself, the body she was trapped in (thanks Mom)
Habbits : flirting, tossing her hair, making exaggerated faces, acting like the slightest thing is the end of the world, "forgetting" to eat
Flaws : shallow, egotistical, "loose," rude
Pet Peeves : people she has absolutely no concern for dropping their problems on her, teachers who lick their finger before paging through papers, posers
Strengths : leadership, speaking her mind, being dramatic
Weaknesses : self-control, considering others, feeling anything for someone else
[/li][li]"Comfortable" is not a word one would use to describe Kota. Matter of fact, she is anything but. Kota gets very little attention from her parents because of who they are, so she's lacking in the love and attention department. How does she solve that problem? You got it. She picks up the first decent looking guy she can find and drags him (albeit willingly) to bed. When she's feeling so low on self esteem that she doesn't even think she can pick up a guy, Kota turns to more... destructive methods. She doesn't trust people at all. Why? Because she lives in today's society. She knows how hard it is to find a person you can confess all your secrets to without a) being judged harshly, or b) having them retold as the hottest gossip the next day at school. Unfortunately, that also means she has no one to bring her out of it when she hits one of her low spells.[/blockquote]
The man in the moon he is the engineer
[/li][li]Right from the off, Kota's depiction of parents was the people who birthed you, then kissed you goodbye every morning and didn't come home until after you were long asleep. That's how it was for as long as Kota could remember. Her parents would come in to her room and stoop over her crib to offer her enthusiastic goodbyes, then completely disappear. She didn't mind being raised by nannies -- most of them were pretty nice whenever they were forced to come in contact with her. Kota actually thought that was normal, being raised by someone besides your parents. That is, until she started school. On her first day of kindergarten, when the butler dropped her off, she saw all the other girls kissing their mommies and/or daddies goodbye. She gave her butler a kiss on the cheek just to fool people. He looked startled at first, then seemed to pick up on things and smiled at her.
In Kindergarten, no one is afraid to be themselves. That's usually when everyone walks around with huge posses of friends. Kota was the one exception. She grew fairly attached to one girl named Kathrine. They were so close; neither one went anywhere without the other. They told each other everything, keeping no secrets. Unlike most friendships, theirs stood the test of time. Katie and Kota were best friends all through middle school. Katie was always the one who leaned more to the dark side of the spectrum. Some of her friends started doing drugs in the eight grade, and that was the year Katie lost her virginity. Needless to say, it was all downhill from there. Katie began to mock Kota because she hadn't slept with anyone yet. Kota was still too shy to start dating. Then the best friends attended a party over the summer and Katie slipped some alcohol into Kota's punch when she wasn't looking.
Things went from bad to worse when Katie introduced Kota to her friend Chris. I'm going to spare you the details and jump ahead a month, to the start of Freshmen year. Kota realized that she was starting to swell up like a balloon, particularly in the belly area. She also got morning sickness. She decided to pick up a pregnancy test on the way to school. Lunch of her first day of school was spent in the bathroom, discovering that she was pregnant. Who was the first person to know? Katie. That night, Kota woke up bleeding. Apparently, she'd had a miscarriage. But the damage had already been done - she told Katie. The next day, everyone who passed her in the hall snickered into their hand. They also called her hurtful words. Slut, whore, easy... just to name a few. Everyone in school knew, it seemed. Kota approached Katie to talk about it, attempting to draw her away from her other friends. When she got there, Katie looked her straight in the face and said that her mother had forbidden them to speak to each other anymore. The smile in her eyes suggested that Katie didn't mind so much. Kota ran to the bathroom in tears and called her butler. By this time, he was the closest thing she had to a friend. He picked her up from school.
It was also he who petitioned to Kota's father that they have her transfer schools. Lumini was the nearest district. Before she started there, Kota decided to completely recreate herself. She dyed her hair bleach blond and started curling it. She decided that she wasn't going to be the shy little girl who got ordered around anymore. She was going to be calling the shots. On the first day of school, she managed to land herself a date with the quarterback of the football team. Guess what they did that evening? While she was stirring up the school, Dakota had a hard time convincing herself that she was truly happy. Rather than blame that on her actions, she blamed it on her looks and personality. She started telling herself she was too fat, and purposefully "forgot" to eat meals. She told herself she wasn't pretty and piled on loads of makeup each morning. She started telling herself she was worthless and took up cutting. And since high school didn't get any easier, she didn't stop.[/blockquote]
