And with wheels of stars *
[li]Misty has a thin, long face, complete with sharp features and chocolate brown eyes. Her hair falls a little ways past her shoulders, black and thin, always straight. Her skin, a lighter olive tone reflecting her Italian heritage. She tends to wear small amounts of makeup, usually a touch of foundation and dark black eyeliner coating her eyes. Add a touch of shimmer lip gloss and bam, Misty.[/li][li]Misty is a bit thin for her age, also quite tall, standing almost at 6". She has a habit of being a bit awkward in her stance and movements, but also graceful at times (her ballerina mother to blame). her wardrobe consists of clothes many would state as "off the beat and track" being in some ways, nerdy. She loves rope head bands, tight black shirts and bright converse sneakers.[/blockquote]
So hush you little ones and have no fear
Likes : Music, fashion magazines, junk food, comic books, shoes, makeup, movie theatre popcorn, lace and frills, picnics, spending times with close friends, and girls.
Dislikes : Liars, jerks, bad personal hygiene, feet, clowns, heights, and disorganization.
Habits : Misty is constantly biting her nails, leaving the bright colored nail polish chipped and the ends jagged. She also enjoys cracking as many joints her body as she possibly can. Why? It feels good, and grosses out some people.
Flaws : Misty is obsessed with what people think of her and is constantly worried. She worries about what people say about her (if they even do), what people think of her and what people might do to her. Being a lesbian, she sometimes worries about the closed-minded people that may judge her and unfortunately, tries to keep her sexuality hidden.
Pet Peeves : Overly happy-go-lucky people, loud noises and people watching her eat.
Strengths : Misty can be very intelligent if she puts her mind to it and loves to meet new people. She can be a very friendly, outgoing person and puts on a brave smile in even the hardest of times.
Weaknesses : Misty has the tendency to fall for girls easily and fast. She deeply fears a life of loneliness, and is constantly throwing her self into situations she cannot always handle. She can be very vulnerable if she's in the right environment and is always on her toes. She also fears commitment. Her mother had her pride and heart destroyed by love and Misty is afraid to follow in those foot steps.
[/li][li]Misty loves a good party. She loves to drink, unwind and have a good time. This sometimes may lead to big mistakes, but she likes to live in the moment and have fun while it lasts. On the outside, she's a generally fun and eccentric, but deep down inside, she suffers with the fear of not being accepted or loved.
She's made a few mistakes in her life, and regrets every moment of it. She tried drugs once, but only once. The guilty feeling afterward was enough to set her off them forever. She has a very pushy and overpowering guilty conscience, who comes in handy often. Overall, she's an exceptionally bright happy girl, but like everyone, has her dark days.[/blockquote]
The man in the moon he is the engineer
[/li][li]Like Misty, her mother, Jenny, loved to have a good time. She was the life of the party, everyone's friend. When she was 17, she met Davey, the love of her life....or so she thought. They dated for 5 months, then Misty was born. After that, they decided to tie the knot. They lived happily in a flat in New York city for a total of 2 years and 6 months. Then one morning, Jenny woke up and Davey was gone. All that was left was a note with the simple words of "I love you, goodbye."
Jenny took it hard, drank her pain away for months. She lost her job as a dental assistant and had to settle for a waitress at a local restaurant. Misty's early years were a blur of tears and vodka. No one to hug her, no one to play with her. She grew accustomed to the silence and made friends with her stuffed animals.
When Misty was old enough to go to school, her mother enlisted her, leaving Misty to say goodbye to her fantasy friends and enter the real world. School was a struggle, as she didn't enjoy playing or conversing with the other children. It wasn't what she was used to. Her mother received many concerned phone calls from teachers, calling her daughter "anti-social" and "interaction-deprived". Everyone was worried and that was when Jenny threw away the bottle for good.
For the next three years of their lives, Jenny strove to improve as a mother, spending more time with Misty and taking her places. Soon enough, Misty found making friends to be easier and easier. By the time she was eight she had a best friend, Ellie. Ellie lived down the street from Misty and the two were nearly impossible to separate.
The two girls stayed close for six years after that, never a problem between the two. When she turned 14, Misty started to develop confusing feelings for Ellie. She looked at her differently, saw her in a more sensual way. Everyday things Ellie did, the things she said, made Misty's heart race. The feelings frightened and confused her beyond belief. One day, she confronted her mother and asked her what these feelings meant. Her mother held her tight, and explained to her the meaning of "homosexuality'. Misty had heard other kids and even Ellie use the word 'gay' as a tease for weaker children and felt ashamed of who she was. Still, Ellie was her best friend, she needed to know.
One day, at school during lunch, Misty got Ellie alone and told her. She told her how she felt around her, how her mother had explained what it meant, everything. She was completely unprepared for the reaction she received. Ellie was disgusted, creeped out. She told Misty not to speak to her anymore, she called her a "FREAK". Misty suffered with the loss of a best friend and a first love. Her mother tried to comfort her, but nothing helped. Misty turned to the sharp blade of her pencil sharpener for help, the blood an easy relief.
To this day, Misty still struggles with an addiction to self harm. It's her way to escape, to lose the pain. No one knows, no one will know. She's gotten good at hiding the scars, the memories forever upon her skin. No one can know...
Misty has matured greatly, and has grown as a person both emotionally and physically. She loves to spend time with friends and still lives with her best friend, her mother.[/blockquote]

RolePlay sample :
Misty bit into her juicy, red apple and looked around her. She was alone, finally. Sure, she loved being with her friends...but she needed alone time. Everyone needed it sometimes. She wiped the juice from the apple off her face with her sleeve and sniffled. She lay down on her back, watching the clouds slowly float by. Sometimes, she wondered what it would be like to be a cloud. Some large fluffy mass, floating in the sky. No hurry to go anywhere, no worries at all. To just float, would be amazing. She stretched out her arms, letting her apple roll away from her finger tips and off into the long grass. She was no longer Misty Brown, human. She was just....a cloud.
The sound of rustling leaves broke her away from her fantasy. Her head snapped up, her body following into a seated position. She looked around her, relieved to see a small squirrel run past her feet, carrying an acorn in it's small claws. She smiled, and lay back down. Blocking the bright sun with her right fore arm, she raised her left to look at her watch. Half past seven thirty in the morning. She had better head to school. Not like she really wanted to, but it was what was expected. She wanted to get a good job didn't she? She wanted to live a good life. Slowly she got to her hands and knees, then to her feet. Dusting the grass bits off of her tight, black high-waisted skirt, she grabbed her rainbow shoulder bag and headed off. Hopefully today, wold be a good day.
